Slip Robotics Raises $28M Series B

Slip Robotics, an Atlanta, GA-based provider of automated truck-loading robots-as-a-service, raised $28M in Series B funding.

The round was led by DCVC.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.

Led by CEO Chris Smith, Slip Robotics empowers people to auto-load and auto-unload any truck in 5 minutes using SlipBot automated loading robots. Its robots-as-a-service network drives improvements in safety, speed, and savings across the supply chain. Companies across North America use it in 24/7 production operations, including John Deere, GE Appliances, Nissan, Valeo, and other manufacturers and logistics operators.

Slip has raised $45M to date from investors such as Eve Atlas, Tech Square Ventures, Hyde Park Venture Partners, Overline, and Pathbreaker Ventures, all of whom participated in the Series B financing.
