Compliance Scorecard, a Dover, NH-based provider of a Compliance-as-a-Service platform designed by MSPs for MSPs, acquired PrivacyMSP, a specialized consulting firm focused on helping clients reduce risk and ensure compliance and governance to meet privacy regulations.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
With the acquisition, Compliance Scorecard will enhance its ability to provide specialized services for privacy compliance and data protection.
As part of the acquisition, PrivacyMSP founder Brian Blakley will join Compliance Scorecard as Chief Risk Officer. In this role, he will head the newly created Professional Services Division, providing customized service packages designed to guide MSPs through every step of their compliance journey.
Led by CEO and Founder Tim Golden, Compliance Scorecard specializes in governance, risk, and compliance solutions for Managed Service Providers (MSPs). Built with a security-by-design philosophy, the platform improves compliance management, empowering MSPs to grow their business while protecting clients. With features such as policy management, risk registers, asset management, and SharePoint integration, Compliance Scorecard helps MSPs manage multiple clients and scale their compliance services.
The new professional services package includes three customized models:
- Comprehensive Managed Services: Compliance Scorecard’s experts fully implement and manage compliance initiatives on behalf of the MSP, ensuring end-to-end execution.
- Empowered Self-Guided Solutions: MSPs are equipped with Compliance Scorecard’s tools and expertise, enabling them to independently execute their own compliance initiatives with confidence and autonomy.
- Collaborative Partnership Model: A cooperative approach where Compliance Scorecard works alongside the MSP, combining internal resources with external expertise to co-manage compliance programs effectively.
