Simulation Theory Raises $2M Pre-Seed Funding

Simulation Theory, a San Diego, CA-based startup dedicated to reducing waste by optimizing compute resources, raised $2M in Pre-Seed funding.

The round was led by Larry Russ, managing partner at Russ, August & Kabat with individual investors including Ryan Peterson, former CEO of Finger Food Advanced Technology Group and Robert Wallace of Strategic Alternatives.

The company intends to use the funds to support further development of its software development kit (SDK) designed to maximize applications’ ability to optimize existing resources to help companies save in overspending on hardware and cloud usage each year.

Founded in 2023 by Anthony Castoro and Randy Culley, Simulation Theory provides a proprietary SDK that empowers businesses to leverage existing resources efficiently and sustainably for maximum reduction in cost, increased performance and minimized impact on the environment. The company has also recently launched a pilot program to test the technology’s effectiveness for enterprise applications across various industries.

Customers include Secur3D, Encant AI, Perception Grid and Gameye.
