Jolt Energy Storage Technologies Closes $4M Series A Funding

Jolt Energy Storage Technologies, a Holland, MI-based company which specializes in sustainable organic energy storage materials, raised $4M in Series A funding.

Backers were not disclosed.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate prototype development, field testing, design and manufacturing processes to pave the way for commercial scalability of its organic flow battery design.

Jolt is developing a scaled organic flow battery, which harnesses proprietary, all-organic materials for long duration energy storage. The company plans to complete its 3kW, four-hour prototype by December 2025, marking a significant milestone in the evolution of energy storage technology.
