Each month, the Academy for Advanced Leadership will offer members:
- Training covering a diverse range of personal and professional development topics.
- Power Up Challenges that will break members out of their comfort zones and give them the momentum needed to grow as leaders.
- Expert advice from industry leaders who will share their success strategies.
- A private online community for ongoing peer-to-peer support, guidance, feedback, and accountability.
The Academy for Advanced Leadership is facilitated by Take The Lead Leadership Ambassador, author, speaker, and brand strategist, Felicia Davis.
“The ‘new normal’ requires a new kind of leader,” said Davis. “The Academy for Advanced Leadership will amplify the voices of women leaders who are ready to take on today’s challenges and use their unique strengths to shape the future.”
The Academy for Advanced Leadership’s first virtual masterclass, “What’s Your Story: Examining Narratives & Shadows,” with University of Minnesota professor Catherine R. Squires, will be hosted on Thursday, May 20 at 1 p.m. EST. Squires’ masterclass will help Academy members explore the power dynamics of story sharing and build the skills to discern whether they are acting in good faith both as listeners and tellers.
