Swerdlow Florence Sanchez Swerdlow & Wimmer, A Law Corporation, a leading Los Angeles-based labor and employment law firm exclusively representing employers, is pleased to announce that Allison Musante and Meghan O’Kane have been elevated to the firm’s partnership as of January 1, 2025.

Allison Musante advises employers on a wide range of labor and employment issues, and she helps companies formulate policies and practices to comply with California’s complex, ever-changing employment laws. Ms. Musante also represents employers in all types of employment litigation, including the defense of discrimination and harassment claims, PAGA lawsuits, and wage-and-hour class actions. Additionally, Ms. Musante conducts independent, neutral workplace investigations.  She received a J.D., magna cum laude, from Loyola Law School and a B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania.

Meghan O’Kane counsels employers on matters involving employee onboarding, exempt/non-exempt classification, wages, discipline, leaves of absence, and termination. As part of her practice, Ms. O’Kane also provides California-required anti-harassment training to employees and managers both in-person and remotely. She has defended companies across multiple industries in single-plaintiff discrimination, harassment, and retaliation lawsuits. Ms. O’Kane also has successfully litigated multiple wage-and-hour cases, including both PAGA and class-action matters.  She received her J.D. from The George Washington University Law School and her B.S. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
