WHAT: Boston Dance Studios (BDS) is excited to announce the upcoming celebration of its Two-Year Anniversary on Saturday, January 18, 2025. BDS is honored to invite its valued leaders, mentors, and friends to join them for a day of celebration and creative expression to mark this significant milestone of growth, community, and achievement. This anniversary is not only a time to reflect on BDS’s accomplishments, but also to look ahead to the exciting future.
To commemorate the occasion, BDS is offering a FREE day of classes featuring exclusive, one-of-a-kind collaborations designed by its talented faculty. These innovative classes will showcase unique combinations that are not part of BDS’s regular schedule, providing a fresh and inspiring experience for all participants. The collaborations will include:
- Pat Planet x Lex Maetta
- Ro Desere x Salih Bost
- Kayleigh Lucci (of We The Females) x Isiah “MovelikeZay” Beasley
- Alexis Beffer x Tarikh Campbell
In addition to the special classes, BDS will host a community discussion fro 1:15 PM to 3:15 PM focused on big questions, community growth, and ideas for the future to foster deeper connections within the dance community. Throughout the day, attendees can also explore an expo showcasing the achievements, creative projects, donors, and milestones BDS has accomplished in its first two years. Asilent auction will also offer unique opportunities to support the studio, along with other surprises and interactive experiences.
Sign-ups for the free classes will open on January 1 through Vagaro, and spaces are expected to sell out quickly. Attendees are also welcome to donate to BDS’s ongoing $80k fundraising campaign, aimed at making critical infrastructure improvements to the studio through BDS’s GiveButter Page.
