Contentstack Acquires Lytics

Contentstack, an Austin, TX-based AI-powered headless CMS, announced the acquisition of Lytics, a Portland, OR-based real-time customer data platform provider.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

Co-founded in 2013 by McDermott and Aaron Raddon, Lytics provides the CDP category and has been recognized by organizations including Adweek and Deloitte for its innovation. Its composable approach aligns with Contentstack’s vision for the future of enterprises: flexible and modular technology that grows and changes as the business evolves.

Major global brands including Mondelez, Universal Music Group, LiveNation, Clorox and Ancestry will join the Contentstack client roster.

Led by CEO and Founder Neha Sampat, Contentstack is the creator of the Headless CMS and the Composable Digital Experience Platform (DXP) used by brands around the world such as Alaska Airlines, ASICS, Burberry, Mattel, Mitsubishi and Walmart.

With the acquisition, the company will further enhance:

  • Real-time engagement data and audience insights for both known and unknown visitors.
  • The ability to create audience profiles and segments out-of-the box.
  • A data activation layer that enables users to access and understand customer data and send it across preferred channels instantly.
