Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer is pleased to announce that Geoff Poston, SIOR is taking over leadership of their Virginia Beach office from Chris Rouzie, who served as managing broker for the past ten years.
As managing broker, Mr. Poston will focus on growing and leading Thalhimer’s Virginia Beach office. He joined Thalhimer in 2010 and specializes in the acquisition and disposition of industrial properties. He leads Thalhimer’s Hampton Roads Industrial Group and has been a top commercial broker in the Hampton Roads region for over 14 years. Throughout his tenure with Thalhimer, he successfully transitioned the Industrial team to serve more institutional clients and occupiers of Port-related properties. Mr. Poston is a 2011 Old Dominion University graduate, a 2020 Hampton Roads Chamber LEAD Program alumnus, and current President of the SIOR Virginia Chapter.
Chris Rouzie has led Thalhimer’s overall Hampton Roads operation since 2014. He will remain a part of Thalhimer’s Board of Directors and Executive Leadership Team. Mr. Rouzie will continue serving as the managing broker of Thalhimer’s Newport News office while serving his substantial client base.
