GFP Real Estate, LLC is pleased to announce that that Watchale LLC, doing business as Los Tacos No. 1, has signed a new 10-year lease for 9,800 square feet on the first floor of 318 West 39th St. in Manhattan’s Garment District.
Los Tacos No. 1 is known for its authentic and fresh take on traditional Mexican tacos, featuring handmade tortillas, quality meats, and flavorful toppings that have made it a celebrated destination for food enthusiasts across the city.
The new space will serve as a commissary kitchen for Los Tacos No. 1, enabling the company to produce tortillas, chips, and other staples for their popular taquerias.
Matthew Mandell of GFP Real Estate represented the landlord, GFP Real Estate, in the transaction. Neal Ohm of Newmark represented the tenant, Watchale LLC.

318 West 39th St. was built in 1915 and designed by the architectural firm of Crow, Lewis, & Wickenhafer on the former site of the Finck Brewery and was originally named the Finck Building. The thirteen-story building’s façade features classically inspired architectural detailing and a welcoming, modernized lobby. Building tenants include the famous fashion house.
Situated in the historic Garment District, the building is conveniently close to many area amenities, including the trendy eateries of Hell’s Kitchen, and ample transportation links including A, C and E trains on Eighth Avenue, the Port Authority Bus Terminal, and nearby Times Square-42nd Street station.
