Almanax Raises $1M Funding

Almanax, a NYC-based AI web3 security engineer company, raised $1M in funding.

Backers included Blockchain Builders Fund, Exor Ventures, Vento Ventures, Italian Angels for Growth (IAG), Eden Ventures by IAG, Moonbase, and angels.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the expansion of its team and the continued development of the Web3 Security Atlas, an open-source initiative launched in collaboration with TRM Labs, AnChain.AI, Hypernative, and supported by the Stellar Development Foundation.

Formed in 2024 by Francesco Piccoli, Giorgio Demarchi, and Maxwell Watson, Almanax aims to tackle security problems across web3. Its flagship model is ALMX-1, a platform that allows engineers to manage smart contract vulnerability detection in real-world scenarios. It is also developing ALMX-2, a new model that builds on its existing support for multiple programming languages.
