Bridgeway Capital Management Appoints Seema Ackerman as Head of Distribution, Marketing, and Client Service

HOUSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Bridgeway Capital Management, an investment firm focused on stewardship and long-term, disciplined processes grounded in academic theory and fundamental insights, today announced the appointment of Seema Ackerman as Head of Distribution, Marketing, and Client Service.

Ms. Ackerman will be responsible for enhancing Bridgeway’s messaging, expanding its distribution channels and marketing initiatives, as well as delivering exceptional service to its growing client base.

Ms. Ackerman brings over two decades of experience in the financial services industry to Bridgeway Capital Management. Most recently, she was Managing Director and Head of the Outsourced CIO and Central Family Office Business at BlackRock.

Before BlackRock, Ms. Ackerman was a Managing Director at Oxford Financial Group, developing and implementing investment strategies for ultra-high-net-worth clients at the privately held multi-family office. Earlier in her career, Ms. Ackerman, spent over a decade as a Vice President and Regional Director in the asset management division of Goldman Sachs.

Ms. Ackerman holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance with a minor in Technology and Management with honors from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She also earned a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
