From the creator of SkyCycle in Charlotte, Jungle Cycle + Strength is a novel fitness studio offering cycling and Pilates classes unlike anything in the region. The studio transports guests to destinations such as Tulum, Mexico, New York City and Miami with its dark, lush aesthetic and deep connection to music and movement. The rhythm-based classes are dimly lit and set against the vibrant energy of EDM and house music. Membership options will include class packages, unlimited cycling, unlimited pilates or unlimited everything. Jungle Cycle + Strength is expected to open in the summer of 2025.
“Lower Tuck’s location within an up-and-coming neighborhood served as the perfect backdrop for this new, adventurous concept,” said Olivia Morgan, founder of Jungle Cycle + Strength. “There’s nothing like it in the Charlotte area. We want our guests to let loose, unleash their inner predator and fuel their fearlessness in our fitness classes. Welcome to the Jungle.”
Earlier this year, Third & Urban added six new office spec suites to Lower Tuck spanning 33,000 square feet. Now totaling 20 suites, the office spec suite program has proven effective for the district with companies attracted to the modern, turnkey workspaces delivered inside the adaptive reuse setting.
iTradeNetwork is the latest office user to join Lower Tuck, occupying a 6,328-square-foot space. For over 25 years, iTradeNetwork has been at the forefront of the food service supply chain industry. Leasing 4,658 square feet, Curated Events is an events rental supplier, providing a wide variety of high-quality event rental equipment, including everything from the place setting on the table to the dance floor and tent. WKFC Underwriting Managers has also recently renewed its 2,779-square-foot office lease.
“Lower Tuck is rich with entrepreneurial spirit across our retail and office spaces,” said Pierce Lancaster, partner at Third & Urban. “Businesses are attracted to the human-scale, creative environment in this thriving neighborhood of Charlotte. FreeMoreWest is quickly growing, with Lower Tuck alongside it.”
The area surrounding Lower Tuck has experienced an influx of activity as a wave of residential development embraces the neighborhood. Grubb Properties’ car-free community CYKEL apartments, Portman’s Vera at Savona Mill and Ram Realty Advisor’s The Perch opened nearby earlier this year, bringing more than 600 apartment units to the neighborhood.
Joe Cherry, IV at Cherry Associates represented iTrade in the deal, Kaitlyn Fitch from CBRE represented Jungle Cycle, and Timmy Phillips at Stream Realty Partners represented Curated Events. Lower Tuck’s office leasing is overseen by Stream Realty Partners, while retail leasing is led by Thrift Commercial Real Estate Services.
