Aaronson Rappaport and Bond Schoeneck & King to Maintain Offices at L&L’s Fully Modernized Midtown East Office Tower
L&L Holding Company today announced it has signed two lease extensions totaling 55,269 square feet at 600 Third Avenue, the firm’s modernized 42-story Midtown East office tower.
L&L secured a 15-year extension with Aaronson Rappaport Feinstein & Deutsch, LLP to keep the firm’s headquarters at the Grand Central district tower through at least 2042. A tenant since 2010, Aaronson Rappaport will maintain the same 42,764 square feet it currently occupies on the entire 5th and 6th floors. Founded in 1993 by four seasoned trial attorneys, Aaronson Rappaport has grown into a leading litigation firm with more than 80 attorneys.
Bond Schoeneck & King also signed a 7-year lease extension at 600 Third. A tenant at the building since 2014, the firm’s New York City office will remain in the 12,505 square feet it currently occupies across the entire 22nd floor of the building through at least 2033. For over a century, the firm has remained committed to delivering exceptional legal services while upholding a tradition of excellence and integrity.
Originally built in 1970, the striking, 575,254-square-foot tower occupies the entire western blockfront between East 39th and East 40th Streets. L&L, which owns 600 Third in partnership with BlackRock, has undertaken a series of renovations to the tower, including lobby upgrades and building system improvements. L&L also redesigned and renovated 600 Third Avenue’s plaza to create a welcoming public green space with pathways that encourage pedestrians to circulate and relax.
“We are pleased to extend our partnerships with Aaronson Rappaport and Bond Schoeneck & King, two highly valued tenants of the office tower,” said L&L Holding Executive Vice President of Leasing, Jonathan Tootell. “600 Third Avenue’s exceptional workspaces and superior accessibility have made it a sought-after destination for organizations aiming to attract, inspire and retain top-tier talent.”
Other notable companies with a presence at 600 Third Avenue, which is 91 percent leased, include law firm Polsinelli PC, the Permanent Mission of Austria to the United Nations and global investment management firm 3G Capital.
