Crimson Coward Nashville Hot Chicken continues its rapid expansion in Maryland with the grand opening of its newest location in Eldersburg. The 1,453-square-foot restaurant is now serving customers in the Liberty Exchange shopping center at 5959 Exchange Drive.
This marks Crimson Coward’s fifth Maryland location and tenth in the DMV region, with additional sites in the pipeline for 2025. The brand, originally launched in Los Angeles, has built a strong following across Virginia, California, Michigan, Texas, and Washington with its signature Nashville hot chicken, fresh ingredients, and bold flavors.Hyatt Commercial facilitated the lease for the Eldersburg location, with John Sindler of Hyatt representing John Filipiak of RMG-MA, the local area representative partner overseeing the chain’s regional expansion.

Crimson Coward is known for its hand-cut, marinated, and made-to-order chicken, prepared fresh in front of guests in an open kitchen setting. Guests can choose from five heat levels, ranging from Country (no heat) to Burrrrn Baby Burn for those seeking a fiery kick. The menu also features house-made sides and signature sauces.
To celebrate the Eldersburg opening, the Crimson Coward team will host a customer appreciation event at a later date. Normal store hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Customers can also order online or through the Crimson Coward app.
