EnPlusOne Biosciences, a Watertown, MA-based biotechnology company empowering enzymes to deliver better RNA at scale, raised $10M in funding.
The round was led by Northpond Ventures and Breakout Ventures.
As part of their increased investment, Julia Moore, Managing Partner at Breakout Ventures, will join the EnPlusOne Board of Directors.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and R&D efforts.
EnPlusOne is improving RNA therapeutics developing its ezRNA™ platform that empowers enzymes to synthesize RNA and can incorporate a diverse array of natural and modified nucleotides. Their enzymatic, water-based approach promises to generate sustainable and scalable commercial manufacturing of RNA therapeutics.
