TickPick, a NYC-based marketplace for the event ticketing industry, acquired Fanimal, a Venice, CA-based provider of a ticketing platform.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed. This is the first acquisition following TickPick’s $250M growth investment that closed last fall from Brighton Park Capital.
As part of the acquisition, TickPick will expand their partnership with LaLiga North America, to ticket watch parties, concerts and more. TickPick became the exclusive ticketing platform partner in North America for LaLiga in 2024.
Founded by Jonny Halprin in 2019, Fanimal is a ticketing platform for small and mid-sized venues and promoters to access to an extensive set of marketing tools and patented payment solutions. Since launching, the company has amassed over 250,000 users and has been used by hundreds of venues and promoters.
Halprin will work closely alongside the TickPick team to oversee the integration of Fanimal’s primary ticketing offerings into TickPick’s platform.
Led by Co-CEOs and Co-Founders Brett Goldberg and Chris O’Brien, TickPick is a secondary ticket marketplace putting money back in the wallets of live event-goers. Since inception, the company says it have helped customers save over $180 million in service fees.
