Industrious, the world’s best flexible workplace company, today announced the signing of its newest location in New York City, Industrious Lex & E 50th St, set to open in early fall of 2025. This location sits at 560 Lexington Avenue in Midtown East and is in partnership with Rudin, a full-service real estate organization and one of New York City’s largest private owners, operators and developers of first-class real estate.
“We continue to see significant demand across our Manhattan locations and we’re excited to strengthen our network with the addition of a new location in Midtown. This new location also marks an expansion in our relationship with Rudin, with whom we have an existing location within Tribeca,” said Douglas Feinberg, Senior Director of Real Estate at Industrious. “Midtown is a vibrant, thriving business district and provides the ideal environment for busy professionals while also being in proximity to world-class dining and landmarks like Grand Central and Rockefeller Center.”
Industrious Lex & E 50th St spans 20,000 square feet and will have 158 seats available in a stylish workplace, perfect for solo entrepreneurs, growing teams, and established businesses. This new location spans the entire second floor of the 22-story, 400,000-square-foot building. 560 Lexington Avenue has been recognized for its operational efficiency and advanced technology with a WiredScore Gold certification. The building also utilizes Nantum AI, the world’s most advanced building operating system, which uses artificial intelligence to improve efficiency, decrease carbon emissions and optimize tenant comfort.
“Our continued partnership with Industrious brings together two organizations dedicated to delivering premier office environments. This location will blend the comfort, community, and productivity Industrious is known for with Rudin’s century of real estate expertise,” said Kevin Daly, Vice President of Office Leasing at Rudin. “560 Lexington’s prime location, just a block off the bustling Park Avenue corridor, coupled with our significant capital improvements campaign makes it the ideal spot for Industrious members to experience Midtown East.”
Industrious members will have access to an amenity suite featuring a new café, lounge, conferencing area, and outdoor space that Rudin is currently creating within the tower. This builds on a previous modernization program that brightened the building’s covered pedestrian space, created a new lobby, added new elevator cabs, and constructed an on-site, glass-enclosed subway entrance for the 50th Street “6” train station.
In addition to easy public transit access in the building and its proximity to Grand Central, this location sits among top-tier dining, shopping, and entertainment. Industrious Lex & E 50th St joins Industrious’ expanding portfolio in the city, including Tower 49 (12 East 49th St), Midtown on 50th St (135 W 50th), Carnegie Hall (152 W 57th St), 1411 Broadway, Bryant Park off Fifth (25 W 39th St), 261 Madison, and Penn 1 (250 W 34th St).
Industrious’ global network includes more than 200 flexible workspaces in more than 65 markets, providing members with productive and engaging workplaces for individuals and companies of all sizes and stages.
Industrious was represented in the transaction by Cushman & Wakefield’s Justin Halpern, Ed Wartels and Ben Bouganim, while Rudin’s Kevin Daly represented building ownership.
