Sheinbein joins as a partner in the Corporate & Securities Practice Group, and partner Jarrod B. Martin and senior attorney Michael Riordan are joining the Bankruptcy & Creditors’ Rights Practice Group. All were previously at Chamberlain Hrdlicka, where Mr. Martin served as chair of the Bankruptcy, Restructuring, & Creditor Rights practice.

A litigator who concentrates his practice in the restructuring and bankruptcy industry, Mr. Martin represents clients nationwide, including bankruptcy trustees, creditors, and corporate and high net-worth debtors. He has extensive experience with restructuring matters affecting energy companies, and he has represented creditors in some of the largest oil and gas bankruptcies filed in Texas. Mr. Martin also serves as a Subchapter V trustee, a fiduciary appointed by the U.S. Department of Justice in Chapter 11 cases under small business bankruptcy law. Mr. Martin earned his J.D. (magna cum laude) from the University of Miami School of Law and his B.S. from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Mr. Sheinbein focuses on corporate transactional work for his clients, which include private and public middle-market companies. With significant experience in the energy, real estate, manufacturing and financial services industries, he represents buyers and sellers of stock and business assets, as well as borrowers and lenders in commercial finance transactions. His practice also involves advising management teams, in-house counsel, boards of directors, and investors in the development and execution of corporate strategies. Mr. Sheinbein received his LL.M. in taxation (magna cum laude) from the University of Miami School of Law, his J.D. from Tulane University School of Law, and his B.A. from Tulane University.
Mr. Riordan focuses his practice on the restructuring of companies in and out of bankruptcy, debtors’ and creditors’ rights, debtor-in-possession financers, and the acquisition and sale of distressed assets. He counsels clients on out-of-court workouts and turnarounds, as well as strategies to minimize the risk of doing business with distressed companies. Mr. Riordan earned his J.D. (with honors) from the University of Texas School of Law and his B.S. (cum laude) from Texas Tech University.
