Gorman’s Home Furnishings & Interior Design is pleased to announce the launch of its highly anticipated Designer Rooms Program, a celebration of creativity and exceptional design.
This new initiative—where a Gorman’s interior designer creates an entire room within a Gorman’s showroom based on an inspirational furniture piece—offers a unique opportunity for customers to experience firsthand the transformative power of expert interior design, all while showcasing the talents of Gorman’s in-store design team.
“Whether you’re after a full room makeover or just a few design ideas, our Designer Rooms Program will spark inspiration,” said Jonathan Moray, CEO, Gorman’s Home Furnishings & Interior Design. “Our team loves helping customers bring their vision to life. This program gives those looking to create a new space in their home a chance to see firsthand how our interior design team can completely transform any space with a mix of creativity and expert advice. Customers also can see how an individual interior designer approached the room design and even capture ideas they might implement themselves.”
The Designer Rooms Program kicks off this month at the Gorman’s Novi, Southfield and Troy showrooms. Room designs will rotate approximately every quarter. Each room begins with the careful selection of an inspiration piece that serves as the heart of each room. From there, the designated interior designers curate stunning room concepts that embody innovation, functionality, and style. By drawing from Gorman’s unparalleled selection of more than 100 premium brands, the program highlights the diverse, high-quality selection that sets Gorman’s apart in the home furnishings and interior design industry.
Each Designer Room is thoughtfully crafted to ignite the imagination, demonstrating how expert design can turn any space into a captivating environment. These dynamic room concepts are created to inspire homeowners and design enthusiasts alike, offering endless possibilities for personalizing their living spaces with stylish, high-quality furnishings.
What can visitors expect to experience in each Designer Room currently available in each store? This quarter the following designers have invented Designer Rooms at the following showrooms:
Dan Leahu (Novi) – Leahu’s design approach combines neutral backdrops with vibrant artwork and accessories, for a modern take on traditional design and classic silhouettes. His featured room highlights beautiful pieces from Vanguard, Revelation and Leftbank Art.
Yolanda Williams (Southfield) – Williams embraces the beauty of contemporary design while creating a warm, welcoming and harmonious space. Her design incorporates selections from Artistica Home, Hooker Furniture and Thayer Coggan.
Colleen Wagner (Troy) – Wagner emphasizes the power of color and pattern, expertly mixing styles to create an eclectic aesthetic for a striking effect. Her room features elegant pieces from American Drew Furniture, Hooker Furniture, and Currey and Company.
To explore the Designer Rooms Program and see the stunning transformations firsthand, customers are invited to visit Gorman’s showrooms in Novi, Southfield, and Troy, or learn more by visiting www.gormans.com/designerroomsprogram.
