
The Miami Foundation, a philanthropic backbone of Greater Miami, purposefully accelerating leadership, generosity, and a sense of belonging across Miami to inspire people to become changemakers and work together to build a Greater Miami where everyone can thrive, has named Erin Knight, President of Monument Capital Management, an A-Rod Corp company, Board Chair of the acclaimed organization.
As Board Chair, Knight will lead the board, ensuring that the diversity of the board members’ background and expertise deepens The Miami Foundation’s impact. She will lead the board to serve as champions, ambassadors, and trusted advisors, as well as fiduciaries of the organization’s assets.
“Erin is brilliant. She has already been deeply committed to our Foundation for five years, most recently serving as chair of our investment committee,” said Rebecca Fishman Lipsey, President and CEO of The Miami Foundation. “Outside of her official role on our board, I consider Erin to be a close advisor and mentor to me. I trust her with a full heart and feel so proud to co-build the future of our Foundation with her.”

Knight has a long history of philanthropic and community involvement. She serves on the Board of Directors of Amerant Bank and the Board of Governors of Citizens Property Insurance Corporation. In addition, she serves on the Board of and as an Executive Committee Member of the Baptist Health Foundation. She has a long history of involvement with the Miami Foundation.
