TRG Appoints Pete Lempert as CEO

Glenn Dady, CEO of Dallas-based advertising agency TRG, today announced that longtime principal Pete Lempert will succeed him in the CEO role, effective March 31. Lempert joined TRG in 1994 and has led business for brands like Corona Beer, Nokia, Advance Auto Parts, Amstel Beer, Learjet, Mohawk Flooring, Charles Schwab, Orkin, Sewell Automotive Companies, and others. Promoted to principal in 1996, he became chief development officer and managing principal in 2024.

Dady, named CEO in 2019 after 39 years at the agency, will retire this spring.

“Pete has been with the agency for more than 30 years and brings a unique skillset to this new role,” said Dady. “He has the perfect combination of creativity and business acumen. He is a proven leader who has consistently delivered results for our clients while improving the employee experience and culture within the agency.”

“It’s an honor to lead this incredible independent agency into our next chapter,” said Lempert. “We have always been known as a creative powerhouse, where we make brands memorable, and that will never change. But TRG and the marketplace have shifted dramatically over the past five years too. We are well positioned for the future, where bold ideas will be nurtured to succeed in a rapidly changing marketplace.”

Lempert graduated from Denison University in Granville, Ohio, and started his career at Bozell & Jacobs in Dallas, working on such clients as Dial, American Airlines, NationsBank, Armour Foods, and Southwestern Bell Mobile Systems.

“I am extremely proud of this agency for everything we have accomplished, proud of our clients and partners, and proud of the work. I can’t wait to watch the continued success,” said Dady.
