CareHive Promotes Nathan Barleen to Vice President of Data Science

AUSTIN, Texas–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Digital navigation leader, CareHive Health, is thrilled to announce the promotion of Nathan Barleen to Vice President of Data Science. Nathan has deep expertise in healthcare, machine learning, AI model development, and AI-powered healthcare analytics. In this position, Barleen will lead CareHive’s Data and Analytics team.

Since joining CareHive in 2020, Barleen has been instrumental in building CareHive’s AI-powered approach, which is moving the needle on healthcare affordability and consumers’ willingness to compare costs for their healthcare services. At CareHive, he’s developed AI-powered predictive models that enhance health plan revenue, optimize patient engagement, and improve program ROI. He also spearheaded the acquisition and integration of large-scale datasets to power more refined predictions and healthcare decision making.

Barleen has authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles on healthcare data science and program evaluation. His research has provided evidence-based insights into AI’s role in improving healthcare outcomes, risk prediction, and ROI measurement.
