Venable represented commercial and music video production studio London Alley Entertainment in its sale to Vice Media. The Los Angeles-based production studio will merge with Vice-owned production company Pulse to create Vice Commercials and Branded Entertainment. The recipient of multiple industry awards, including GRAMMYs, MTV VMAs, Cannes Lions and Clios, London Alley has teamed with Swarovski, Pepsi, Bose, NFL and L’Oréal for ad campaigns, and musical artists including Ariana Grande, The Weeknd, Post Malone and Kendrick Lamar on video projects. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The Venable team was led by Los Angeles litigation partner Max Wellman and Chicago corporate/M&A partner Ted Keim.  Support on the transaction was provided by corporate associates Liz Fuzaylova and Darya Kaboli-Nejad, tax partners Nick Jacobus and Liz Stieff, employment counsel Rebecca Lee and benefits partner Harry Atlas.
