Shutts & Bowen LLP is pleased to announce that Andrew W. McLaughlin has joined the firm’s Tampa office as a partner in the Corporate Practice Group.
McLaughlin guides clients through complex employee benefits issues related to 401(k) plans, ESOPs, and health benefits. He also assists clients with ERISA, executive compensation and equity incentive plans, and advises them regarding Code Section 409A. His proven track record includes resolving matters with the IRS and the Department of Labor.

An experienced labor and employment lawyer, McLaughlin also assists private, public, and non-profit employers in a wide range of matters. These include employment discrimination, wrongful discharge, severance issues, restrictive covenants, wage and hour disputes, employment contracts and employee benefits litigation.
McLaughlin earned an LL.M. and a Certificate in Employee Benefits from Georgetown University Law Center and his law degree, cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law.
