Timber Pizza Company is bringing its signature wood-fired pizzas and community spirit to Edgewater, MD, with a new location at Market at South River Colony. Hyatt Commercial facilitated the lease as the center’s exclusive representative, supporting Timber’s seamless expansion.
Founded in 2014 by Chris Brady and Andrew Dana, Timber Pizza started as a passion project, operating from a ’67 Chevy pickup truck with a mobile pizza oven. Soon after, they teamed up with Chef Dani Moreira, a Culinary Institute of America graduate, and in 2016, opened their first brick-and-mortar location in Petworth, Washington, D.C. Since then, Timber Pizza has become a DMV staple, known for its handcrafted pies, vibrant flavors, and commitment to quality ingredients.
This Edgewater location marks Timber Pizza’s second Maryland outpost, following its success in Annapolis. The 2,100-square-foot space at Market at South River Colony will further enhance the shopping center’s dynamic offerings, serving up Timber’s signature pizzas and warm hospitality to the Edgewater and Mayo Peninsula communities.
