JLL has announced the hiring of Ryan Levy as Executive Vice President with the company’s occupier services team in South Florida.
Levy, who spent the past three years as a Managing Director with Newmark, will focus on servicing local, national, and global office users across various industries including financial services firms, banks, and professional services firms, to plan and execute their corporate real estate strategies.
With more than 16 years of industry experience, Levy’s deep market knowledge combined with JLL’s innovative, data-driven platform will support clients in achieving real estate solutions that align with their business objectives.
In his new role, Levy will focus on implementing results-driven occupancy solutions including lease acquisitions, relocation strategies, site selection, lease renewals, expansions, dispositions, lease restructuring and consolidations. As a seasoned professional, Levy has built a reputation as a thought leader, providing clients with expert and strategic guidance to execute complex transactions on a local and international level.
“As South Florida’s office market continues to be one of the most competitive in the country, JLL remains steadfast in our ability to not only implement the latest technology and resources for our clients, but also ensure they are working with the region’s top people,” said Dan McGowan, JLL Executive Managing Director and Broker Lead for South Florida. “The addition of an experienced broker like Ryan will further enhance our office space consulting services. The region’s office market continues to see demand from new-to-market companies and existing businesses seeking the best workplace solutions for their organizations and Ryan will help us service them.”
Prior to Newmark, where he initially started his real estate career creating occupier strategies in 2007, Levy was previously a Managing Director with Cushman & Wakefield’s Tenant Advisory Group where he was recognized as a South Florida Top Producer several times.
Originally from Pennsylvania, Levy moved to Miami in 2007. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Political Science from Wilkes University where he played football for the Colonels. Levy is currently part of CoreNet’s Global Corporate Real Estate Network and is involved with the Greater Miami Jewish Federation.
