Tootl Transport, a non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) service franchise that provides safe, wheelchair accessible rides for anyone with mobility and cognitive challenges, is now open for business in the Denver area.
The new franchise will be owned and operated by local husband-and-wife duo Keaton (28) and Alexandria (28) Brown, who were inspired to bring the important service to people needing safe, accessible transportation throughout the area. Between Alexandria’s previous experience at a fast-paced marketing agency and Keaton’s background in software engineering, the young couple are confident they’re set up for success with the in-demand service business.
“Tootl makes a difference in people’s lives by providing something most of us take for granted – our mobility,” said Alexandria. “Our wheelchair-accessible transportation service allows anyone who is unable to transport themselves to get safely and conveniently to their medical appointments, to work or school, to run errands, or just to experience those in-person, joyful moments with family and friends.”
With a mission of improving lives through safe and reliable transportation for people of all abilities and a motto of “We accept your challenge,” the new Tootl Transport franchise solves the transportation challenges of multiple populations. This includes seniors, wheelchair-users or anyone with temporary to chronic mobility or cognitive challenges who require specially-equipped vehicles and professionally trained drivers to get them safely to their destinations. Having operated successfully in the Chicago area since 2012, Tootl Transport began offering franchises in 2024 to introduce the important service to new communities across the country.
The opening of the Denver location marks the next step in the brand’s continued national expansion through franchising. Tootl Transport of Denver operates in the Denver Metro area.
“Oftentimes, it’s families or friends who book rides on behalf of people in their lives with mobility or cognitive challenges,” Keaton said. “As someone who has had grandparents in nursing homes, I know reliable and safe transportation makes a world of a difference, whether it’s going to a doctor’s appointment or going out for a haircut. We’re grateful to have the opportunity to serve our Denver community.”
