Baltimore PR pro Jeffrey A. Davis, APR, of JD/PR will be a featured speaker at the upcoming PRxNE conference hosted by the Yankee Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America for the PRSA Northeast District.
The virtual conference will cover how to reinvent the delivery of communication and find new ways to engage technology for PR.
Sessions include “Using Data to Drive Content Strategy,” “How To Pitch To Podcasts To Land Interviews That Become Evergreen,” and “How to Optimize, Measure, and Report on Social Media Marketing.”
Futurist Christopher S. Penn, an authority on analytics, digital marketing, marketing technology, data science, and machine learning will serve as a keynote speaker.
Davis’s session, “Is Your Crisis Communications Plan Still in a 3‐Ring Binder?” will provide attendees with strategic advice on how to prepare for a communications crisis, including practical steps to convert a traditional crisis communications plan to a mobile version that can be accessed by multiple people, wherever the team happens to be.
“When a crisis hits, you’re not necessarily sitting at your desk with the plan at your side,” he said. “You’ll most likely be at an off‐site meeting or on a soccer field when that call comes in and you’ll need to be prepared to access your plan and deal with the situation immediately.
“I am honored to have been selected to speak at this year’s PRxNE conference and look forward to sharing my insights and actionable tips for communicators attending the conference,” he said.
The PRSA Northeast District is comprised of eight PRSA chapters, and serves more than 1,000 public relations professionals. The conference is set for June 17 and 18. For more information and to register, visit https://www.eventbrite.com/e/prxne-2021-virtual-conference-tickets-146985925861
