CleanArc Data Centers Receives Investment From Townsend Group

CleanArc Data Centers, a Las Vegas, NV-based developer and operator of data center campuses, received an investment from Townsend Group.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

The company intends to use the funds to support its growth initiatives as they continue developing their first data center campus in Virginia, set to deliver 300 MW of capacity by Q1 2027.

Founded by CEO James Trout, CleanArc is a provider of sustainability-focused data center development and operation solutions. It develops structures that approach 100% low-cost sustainable and zero carbon clean energy resources consistent with its customers’ goals towards renewable content, load profile management, duration, power sourcing and additionality, and technologically focused off grid and grid attached resiliency.

As of September 30, 2024, Townsend had assets under management of $19.3B and as of March 31, 2024, provided advisory services to clients who had real estate/real asset allocations exceeding $237.9B.
