Igor Severinovskiy, South Florida’s Rising Tech Star: An Entrepreneur’s Sprint to Success

South Florida entrepreneur Igor Severinovskiy is co-founder and chief executive officer of Sprinterra, a global software development and IT consulting firm, a company he says embodies the essence of its name by enabling its business customers “to sprint ahead in the digital race.”

The company is recognized among the top software development agencies by Clutch B2B marketplace and a trusted developer partner of Acumatica, the leading cloud-based ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system designed for small to medium-sized businesses. Among its services and strengths, Sprinterra customizes and enhances the Acumatica suite of features to manage various aspects of a business, including financials, operations, inventory, customer relationship management (CRM), and more with flexibility, scalability, affordability and ease of use.

Severinovskiy entered the tech business world because of his love of computers.  Seeing lines of code transform into a working piece of software fascinated him then, and still today.

In 2007 he co-founded Sprinterra, which now has completed hundreds of successful projects for companies from the Fortune 500, mid-size organizations, small firms and startups.  Top name clients include BloombergMadison Square GardenCegidCommitlyGlobal RockStar and more.

He credits the company’s success to its team of specialists driven to help clients overcome challenges and achieve goals. “The word impossible just means the right solution has not been found yet. That’s where we come in.”

Based in New York City, Sprinterra has more than 100 in-house developers and other tech experts working from all over the globe. Many of whom are located in Kyiv, Ukraine, Severinovskiy’s original home which has suffered Russian military invasion and political aggression for more than three years. He says their resilience and bravery in the face of these attacks keeps him especially inspired and motivated for any challenge.

“I’m proud to say that every member of our team has played a role in supporting our sovereign nation and being there for one another. There is no doubt in my mind that Ukraine will prevail and will come out a much stronger and prosperous country.”

After living in New York for 30 years, Severinovskiy moved to South Florida in 2022.

He says joining Entrepreneurs’ Organization South Florida (EO SOFLO) has been especially helpful in making that a successful, positive transition personally and professionally. EO SOFLO is one of the world’s largest EO chapters, and works to foster entrepreneurship and overall economic growth in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.  More than 300 EO SOFLO member companies account for more than $3 billion in yearly revenues and 11,000 jobs in the tri-county area.

Severinovskiy was introduced to the organization through his business coach Jennifer Berkowitz, founder and CEO of R&J Advisory Group.  As a new South Floridian and chapter member, Severinovskiy has quickly engaged with the group.

“Igor is the kind of entrepreneur who makes EO better just by being in the room. He’s thoughtful, sharp, and deeply committed to doing right by his team and his business,” says Berkowitz. “It’s been great to see him join the chapter. He’s a great fit for our community.”

“Igor is a great leader and already a valuable member of our chapter,” said Alex Berg, fellow EO SOFLO member, EO Forum moderator and founder of Cratos Equipment, the nation’s top provider of electric construction equipment. “He’ll be an outstanding contributor to our South Florida entrepreneurial community for many years to come.”

Severinovskiy says EO SOFLO is a great example of South Florida’s dynamic and supportive entrepreneurial ecosystem that is helping his own company, the tech industry and many other sectors thrive.  “It’s very satisfying and beneficial sharing experiences and having access to likeminded entrepreneurs and their unfettered willingness to help and see others succeed.”
