Guardian Nurses is a nurse-owned, nurse-run, Philadelphia-based company recognized for innovation with a 2023 American Academy of Nursing Edge Runners award. One of many innovations that make the company’s Mobile Care Coordinator® program unique is the literal mobilization of nurses in branded vehicles to visit patients in person when and where help is needed: in a hospital, a doctor’s office, or at home.
Guardian Nurses’ team of Mobile Care Coordinators answer questions and act as personal guides and champions, providing members and their families with healthcare services, including accompanying patients to providers’ visits, assistance with tests and treatments, second opinions and options, completing forms, understanding unfamiliar terms, handling insurance denials, and more.
