Earlier this afternoon President Biden announced the launch of the COVID-19 College Vaccination Challenge as part of his goal of administering at least one vaccine shot to at least 70% of adult Americans and to get to 160 million Americans being fully vaccinated by July 4. Notre Dame of Maryland University joins the ranks as a partner university for the COVID-19 College Vaccination Challenge.
According to President Marylou Yam, “We are doing this for every student, faculty, and staff member at NDMU, and see this as a continuation of our vaccine efforts to date. We recently delivered vaccines to nearly 4,000 people from the Greater Baltimore region at our on-campus vaccination clinic, but there is more to be done.”
As part of the COVID-19 College Vaccination Challenge, the University is developing a social media campaign and planning a broader range of activities to promote the challenge, educate individuals about the vaccine, and encourage people to get vaccinated between June 4 and the Fourth of July.
