Weller Management Company is proud to announce and welcome John Pezzulla as the Company’s Managing Director, Asset & Property Management. Pezzulla will be working with the Weller team on developing and implementing the asset and property management plan for Port Covington along with other assets, in addition to growing the property management business for the company.
John came to us from Pacific Retail Capital Partners, where he oversaw a 1.5 million square foot flagship retail asset in Raleigh, NC. Prior to that, John developed and lead commercial/retail asset management for Bozzuto, providing oversight of 2.5 million sf of mixed-use retail/commercial space in 10 states and the District of Columbia, with a focus on placemaking, activation and creating synergies and operating efficiencies between mixed-use components. John began his career with The Rouse Company, in marketing and operations for Harborplace in Baltimore and Bayside Marketplace in Miami. He then continued his career with Struever Bros Eccles and Rouse overseeing management of Under Armour’s Tide Point campus, Belvedere Square and The Can Company and then Federal Realty, overseeing several signature mixed-use properties in the Washington, DC metro Area including Rockville Town Square.
John holds a Bachelor of Business Administration-Management degree from James Madison University, where he was also class president and a founder of the student run FM campus radio station WXJM. He currently serves on several boards in Baltimore including the Baltimore Public Markets Corporation, Pigtown Main Street and Sail Baltimore. John is a native of Baltimore and is a founder of the Baltimore Dragon Boat Club (based at UA’s Tide Point campus) and competes in dragon boat races along the East Coast.
