Spend Father’s Day along the Boulevard with new retail happenings and exclusive specials
Just in time for Father’s Day (June 20th), Atlanta-based menswear company Elk Head Clothing will open it’s first pop-up concept at Avalon, the Alpharetta mixed-use destination, for the summer season. Opening this Friday, the pop-up kicks off an exciting weekend of restaurant and retail specials dedicated to treating Dad to a special Father’s Day along the Boulevard.
Founded and designed by Garrett Hilgendorf, Elk Head will bring its timeless collection of refined, everyday menswear to Avalon in a temporary, 2,500-square-foot space next to West Elm. From adult-quality clothing made of Supima cotton to legacy shirts hand-stitched in Italy, Elk Head offers comfortable and contemporary clothing for men. While open at Avalon this summer, the brand will debut it’s seamless athleisure line to the Alpharetta community.
“Luxury – like the whole ‘good life’ vibe at Avalon – isn’t so much about opulence as it is about consideration: having something simple curated for the way you want to live,” says Hilgendorf. “Elk Head designs great quality everyday clothes for ambitious guys who want to look great but who don’t have the time to search out that perfect pair of jeans or the shirt they’re going to want to wear every day. We do the consideration for them and put it all together. They just have to show up and say, ‘Yeah; that feels like me.’”
Also this weekend, Avalon’s best-in-class retailers and restaurants are offering exciting Father’s Day specials along the Boulevard, including:
• Boardroom Salon for Men – Purchase three or more products from Jack Black, Beardbrand or Bumble + Bumble and receive 25% off.
• CRU Food + Wine Bar – Enjoy a three-course brunch or special dinner for two. Contact the restaurant for reservations.
• High Country Outfitters – $999 for Large Big Green Egg package and 10% off Big Green Egg accessories.
• Oak Steakhouse – Dig into a delicious steak dinner, whether dining in or at home. Call the restaurant for details.
• Peter Millar – Free wireless charger with a $300 purchase.
• Ted’s Montana Grill – Treat Dad to an 18 oz Delmonico Ribeye (limited availability). Call for reservations.
• Tommy Bahama – Spend $175 or more and get a $50 promo card.
• Tumi – Up to 30% off select items.
“As we look forward to spending Father’s Day celebrating our beloved community of Dads, this weekend creates a fantastic opportunity for Elk Head’s pop-up shop to make its grand entrance at Avalon,” said Lauren Ness, marketing manager for Avalon. “With a brand committed to high-quality products and a superior in-store experience, we’re confident the Alpharetta community will love shopping this first-of-its-kind concept along the Boulevard this summer.”
Avalon’s COVID-19 response program, Better Together, continues to create a comfortable environment for the community to come together. As part of this, Avalon has deployed a series of preventative measures that include increasing sanitation procedures in all common areas and on high touch surfaces; and posting signage and decals throughout the property to reinforce best practices.
