PulteGroup Grand Opening for Del Webb BayView Attracts over 1,000 Visitors to Model Homes, Amenities Plan

Del Webb, a division of PulteGroup, welcomed over 1,000 people to its grand opening of Del Webb BayView in mid-June. The four-day celebration at the active adult community in Manatee County gave homebuyers and real estate agents their first look at model homes and a preview of an unmatched amenity complex.

“As one of the most anticipated communities in the Tampa Bay and Bradenton area, Del Webb BayView was an instant hit,” said Sean Strickler, President of the West Florida division of PulteGroup, which includes the Del Webb, Pulte Homes and Centex brands. “People fell in love with the homes and lifestyle.”

The centerpiece of Del Webb BayView is a multi-million-dollar amenity campus expected to open in 2022. It will feature The Driftwood Club, an expansive clubhouse that includes The Sailfish Bar & Grille, a full restaurant and bar, plus a state-of-the-art fitness center with movement studio, a ballroom and multipurpose rooms.

Outside, residents will enjoy a resort-style, zero-entry, heated pool, resistance pool and spa, pickle ball, tennis, bocce ball and shuffleboard courts plus an amphitheater, dock with kayak launch, dog park and community garden.

A full-time Lifestyle Director will schedule events and create social activities including clubs, seminars and classes that bring community members together.

Del Webb BayView offers 14 GenYou Floor Plans and 2 low maintenance villa plans created for 55+ buyers. Many can be viewed through a virtual, online tour and then customized using PulteGroup’s proprietary design tool.

At the grand opening, the sales director and team gave guided tours of the single-family models Mystique, Mainstay Grand, Stardom, Stellar and Compass, and the Ellenwood villa. The single-family homes range from 2-4 bedrooms and 2-4 baths, all with 2- or 3-car garages; the villa has 2-3 bedrooms, 2 baths and a two-garage.

Del Webb BayView sits on nearly 500 acres with 950 homesites at 8816 Sky Sail Cove, Parrish, FL 34219. The guard house entrance on Moccasin Wallow Road is just one mile east of I-75 at exit 229. The community is convenient to the entire Tampa Bay area, with nearby medical care facilities, shopping centers, and entertainment venues.
