RxSense Appoints TG Ganeshan as CFO and Wesley Arnett as COO

BOSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–RxSense, the healthcare technology company delivering industry-leading solutions for pharmacy benefits and prescription savings, today announced the appointments of TG Ganeshan as Chief Financial Officer and Wesley Arnett as Chief Operating Officer.

Ganeshan will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of the RxSense business. Arnett will lead RxSense Operations, Technology and InfoSec teams. Both roles will report directly into the CEO and founder, Rick Bates.

“These appointments represent a significant milestone for our business as we take another step in our ascension as a leading healthcare technology company,” said Rick Bates, founder and CEO of RxSense. “TG and Wes are seasoned executives who bring tremendous healthcare experience to our team and their strategic leadership will be instrumental as we continue to develop new products, scale our operations and build our business for long-term growth.”

Before joining RxSense, Ganeshan was CFO of Optum’s Payer Services organization, a multi-billion dollar business within Optum Insight, and he also served as CFO of Optum’s Payment Integrity division. At Optum, Ganeshan was responsible for consolidating both acquired and organically grown solutions into a unified Payer Market Solutions Group, and transforming that group into a high growth, high margin business. In addition, he supported Optum through the acquisition of Change Healthcare and led the integration of Equian to create a market leader in the Claims Payment Integrity space. Ganeshan also served as Senior Vice President of Finance at Equian, which was acquired by UnitedHealth Group and merged into Optum. Previously, Ganeshan held leadership positions at Hilton Worldwide, Seaworld Parks & Entertainment, and Anheuser Busch.

“RxSense is one of the most promising companies in healthcare, as it is reinventing drug pricing and bringing price transparency to customers through its innovative technology,” said TG Ganeshan, CFO of RxSense. “The company has scaled tremendously in recent years and is well positioned for continued growth, given its unique, vertically integrated model and demonstrated success for its Direct-to-Consumer and SaaS technology businesses.”

Arnett joined RxSense from R1 RCM, a revenue cycle management software and business process outsourcing company servicing the healthcare industry. As EVP of R1’s Global Business Services Unit, his responsibilities included running the entire customer integration function, leading large client software implementations and all commercial contracting, and oversight of the company’s enterprise scaling initiatives. Arnett led an 11,000-person global organization that delivered customer operations, software development, technical learning, and support functions for IT, HR, Finance, and Legal, that were leveraged across R1’s 20,000 employees and customers. During Arnett’s tenure, R1 grew from a start up to a publicly traded company with $1.3B in annual revenues.

“I was drawn to RxSense as one of the rare companies making a difference in improving transparency in healthcare,” said Wesley Arnett, COO of RxSense. “RxSense has already impacted the lives of millions of Americans, and I am excited to join this team as we continue to build innovative technology solutions to help millions more.”

RxSense was founded in 2015 with a singular focus on developing technology solutions that improve healthcare transparency and access to more affordable medications.
